Our Story

At Naaribhav, jewelry is more than what you wear as an ornament. It becomes your ‘Bhav’ and a part of who you are. It carries your past, your present, and the moments you haven’t lived yet. Our name means the essence of womanhood. And to us, womanhood is layered. It’s fierce and fearless. It’s soft and soulful. It changes with time but never loses its depth. Naaribhav was born to reflect this evolution.

We honour traditions, we honor modernity and forwardness. Our jewellery celebrates the Indian spirit, yes  but it also embraces the world you live in today. It speaks of culture, and also of individuality. We design for the woman who holds a strong identity and also for those who are in this journey of evolution. The woman who has fireflies in her heart and the calmness of a swan in her eyes. The one who brings beauty into the boardroom. Who redefines elegance in everyday life. She is never just one thing, and neither are we.

Childhood & Curiosity

I was born in Lucknow, the city of nawabs and kebabs. Yes!  the city of tehzeeb, ageless loveliness, and contentment. I was brought up also in the historic and beautiful lanes of Lucknow. There is something about the place that lingers. The elegance flows in the air, it flows in the heart and soul of the people. The city is a poem. And this very place shaped the woman. Even now, there is a corner of Lucknow that is retained in me;  in the manner I select my words and my fashion choices.

I was the one doing everything at every occasion in my family. From putting on eyeliner, suggesting women of the family about what jewellery they should wear—to owning a jewellery brand; I came too far. I believe your passion will definitely take you somewhere. I wasn't dressing them up; I was lifting their spirits. Seeing the smile on their face made my heart smile too.

Jewelry is never about status symbols, it's always about identity and spirit. It is about identity. It is a movement itself. It is about a woman entering a room and leaving the footprints of her aura. That feeling? That feeling which lingers.

When Everything Changed

It was in March 2024 that I finally surrendered to that nagging little voice that had been pushing me for years. I began Naaribhav as a part-time venture. It was a love affair with jewellery, with stories, and with women who are re-writing their own beauty and power in silence.

But life had other plans. Weeks later, I was let go from work. That could have been a moment of despair, felt in some ways like freedom. I got something valuable;  time, space, and a do-over to start again on my own terms. Soon my passion became the routine work of my life. And that's so overnight!

 

What I Wear (and Why)

For me, I adore things that say what they mean and never shout their heads off. Oxidised silver is my darling; wild, unruly, a bit of a rebel. And yet I also fall in love with the soft glow of pearls, the magnificence of temple ornamentation, the sly wink of kundan when you are not looking.

I don't dress to impress. I dress to feel like I'm confident. Carefree. Serene. There are days when it's a chunky choker and a kurta of cotton. There are days when it's studs and a red lip. My accessories evolve with my mood, my bhav but they always smile back at me in the mirror.

Why Naaribhav

“Naari” means woman. “Bhav” is feeling, soul, essence. Together, Naaribhav is not just a name, it's a celebration of womanhood in its many shades. Soft, fierce, thoughtful, unapologetic and sometimes dramatic.

This isn’t just a brand to me. It’s my truth, my courage, my offering. I just don’t want to sell jewelry,  I want to sell that driving force to women. A driving force to dress up, to show up, to shine; without even giving a thought about being judged. I want women to feel confident. Connected. Well-expressed. Articulated.  That smile and confidence you get when you feel seen. I want women to express themselves. To express Bhav. I see them as a poem; not just for how they look, but for how they live, love, and rise.

I’m not here to blend in. I’m here to build something that lasts; built on trust, heart, and genuine care. Every piece on our platform is an extension of the promise to keep you happy and loved. Always!

If you ask me what I truly want; I want to be remembered for the way I made people feel through Naaribhav. I want to be that woman who led with love, created beauty with meaning, and made every other woman feel just a little more like herself.
